Lauren Jo Alicandro is a multimedia producer and writer. She earned her MA in English Composition at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she teaches writing. Her work has been published in Harvard Book Store's Around the World: An Anthology of Travel Writing and in publications by GBH News. In 2019, she was awarded the Berthoff Prize for Excellence in Composition Studies.
